“I’m always here for you.”
Fuck that. If you were here for me, you would occasionally check up on me, instead of waiting for me to ask first. If you were here for me, I wouldn’t feel so alone all the time. If you were here for me, I would actually have someone to go to for help. If you were here for me, I wouldn’t have to ask myself “where’s everyone when I need someone?” I wouldn’t have to wait a gazillion decades for a reply while I’m panicking on the other side. Is that your definition of being “here for me”?
